the living room, newcastle is all the restaurant you need. and what’s great for our clients? it abuts grey street hotel newcastle and on busy rainy nights when there are queues to this cool bar and restaurant our clients can go straight to the front by showing their key card.

the living room has cool vibes from the bar, (capacity of 250 in the top bar) live music regularly playing in the sexy, sumptuous and cool restaurant which caters for 120 and again in the piano bar. food influences at the living room menus range from leisurely new york style brunch on sunday's, a menu dedicated to the celebration of home-comfort-eating through to simple continental-asian dishes served with great wine. hotel residents can eat in the living room newcastle restaurant and charge it to their room account and pay on departure, just as you would a regular hotel restaurant. local and national celebrities can often be spotted in this bar to be seen in.

what’s even better? the restaurant is open until 11pm, great if you’re expecting to arrive around 8.30-9pm, you don’t have to rush.

and….. in the morning, go to breakfast and you don’t have to go outside to get into the restaurant, fab hey! in the evening we don’t want the hotel to be accessed by a busy bar which is why the door is closed, incase you were wondering!
